Benefits of Black Pearl Charcoal

Making Black Pearl Charcoal

Carbonization is defined as the irreversible thermo chemical reaction that is started by reheating in the absence of air. It triggers endothermic and exothermic reactions. The carbonization of coconut shells takes place on a continuous basis. The technology used by Black Pearl is based on the utilisation of a reactor heated to approximately 550°C. The temperature is maintained at a constant level by the combustion of gases that are recycled and burnt in a second reactor. One of the unique features of our process is that once the machine is preheated, the process produces its own energy, and needs only the supply of coconut shells as an energy source. The functioning of our reactor does not release greenhouse gases nor does the burning of charcoal emit gases toxic to humans. After carbonization, the coconut shell charcoal is crushed into a fine dust and mixed with a binder. It is then shaped, dried and packaged for your convenience.
